Paula Mossaides is a Senior Program Manager at SAIC currently managing two projects for the CDC in Atlanta. Paula earned her BS in Applied Mathematics at MIT with a minor in psychology and her MS in Computer Science at Oregon State University with a minor in artificial intelligence. She has been in the Software Development / IT / Research / Consulting arena for 30+ years. The first eleven years as a programmer and the last twenty two in various management positions from project manager to Director of IT to Senior Program Manager. She holds one of the first US patents in software for her work in computer graphics. She managed the first commercial release of an X Windows / UNIX workstation. Paula has worked in the Graphics, Multimedia, Financial, Airline, and Public Health industries. Paula has worked for MIT’s Media Lab, Tektronix’s Graphics Terminal and Workstation divisions, NCR’s Human Interface Technology Center, Delta Airlines, weather.com, and the last five years at SAIC.
