Hey girls,

As you all know, Microsoft is sponsoring a dinner for us tomorrow night at Figo. They also wanted to let us know about three other exciting on-campus events they will be having this week.

On Wednesday, January 18th, Microsoft will have a booth at the ECE Career Fair. Between 9am and 4pm, stop by Klaus atrium to chat with the reps, drop of a resume, and pick up some swag.

The other big event (in two parts) is called *Big App On Campus*. It is a brand new nationwide competition. You’ll not only get the opportunity to earn recognition for building the next big phone app, but you’ll also get the chance to win some amazing prizes including a trip to SXSW and $15,000!  Be sure to Register at here if you want to attend. Big App on Campus is comprised of two parts:

Info Session on Thursday, January 19th, 6:00-8:00 pm
Location: Klaus in room 2443 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

12 Hour Hack-a-thon on Saturday on January 21st,  10:00am-10:00pm
Location: Room 17, College of Computing building from 10:00 am-10:00 pm
**** free advice, free food, a “don’t bash it till you try it” Windows Phone piñata filled with sweet prizes for all, and a grand prize KINECT!
Participants will need to bring laptops running Windows or a Mac running dual boot Windows partition (no VM) ****
