THURSDAY, APRIL 15th @ 11:00AM
Topic: Demo of a Center for Disease Control and Prevention Application
Facilitator: Steve Huff on NHSN
Location: College of Computing Bldg. Room 102

Steve Huff is a Senior Project Manager and has been with SAIC for eleven years. Steve says he feels a bond with Georgia Tech because his father graduated from here and was a life-long Yellow Jackets fan. He graduated in 1980 from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Computer Science and in 1995 from Auburn University with a M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering. Steve served on an aircraft carrier and a nuclear submarine during a tour in the U.S. Navy. Steve is currently working onsite at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta as a Business Analyst and Quality Manager for SAIC software development. In this role, he works to enhance the National Health Surveillance Network (NHSN), a set of web-based applications which hospitals use to report on patient and health care worker safety.
