All expenses are paid for. Georgia Tech just got invited to the conference, so it is a quick turn around. The deadline is Feb 6th! The description and application is attached. ****************************************************************************** The Center for Ethical Leadership in the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas is hosting one of the premier student leadership conferences in the United States on March 2-5, 2006. Students who are accepted would most likely leave the morning of Thursday, March 2nd and return on the afternoon or early evening of Sunday, March 5th. All expenses are paid for. Attendance at the conference is by invitation only and will be limited to 160 students from universities and colleges across the United States and Mexico to facilitate small group learning in teams of 12-15 students. Georgia Tech is permitted to send four students to the conference. The conference will be a fast-paced, intense experience featuring a blend of great speakers, small-group workshops, and opportunities for informal discussions with peers about leadership and important issues. The expectation is that you will use what you have learned and you will be asked after the conference to write a one-page summary of how the conference was valuable for you and will assist you in your role as a leader at Georgia Tech. CRITERIA The conference organizers prefer an equal number of men and women who are currently sophomores or juniors so you can use what you have learned at the conference in your role as a leader at Georgia Tech. Please type your answers on this form and send it to Dr. Phillip M. Thompson, Director of Leadership Education and Programs, phillip.thompson@vpss.gatech.edu or Room 217 Student Affairs. Only applications received by February 6 will be considered for review. You will be notified shortly after February 6th.
