Candidate's graduation date must occur on or after September 1 2009 Department Desc: The HD/DVR software development team is responsible for the design and development of the Motorola layer of software that ships with each set-top box. This layer includes, but is not limited to: audio, video (MPEG), graphics, closed captioning, subtitles, section filters, table processing, USB, network, and Digital Video Recorder. Basic Skills: Some experience with structured programming (C, C++, Java, etc).

See below for a great opportunity. **2009 ANNUAL GTWF SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION** GTWF is pleased to announce the 2009 Annual GTWF Scholarship Competition. If you know a Georgia Tech student that meets the following requirements, please print the attached scholarship application or forward it along. Eligibility requirements for the GTWF scholarship recipients: Must be a female student who has: 1. Demonstrated academic achievements; 2. Completed at least one semester at Georgia Tech; 3. Have at least two semesters remaining before graduation. No student may receive the award more than two (2) times. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Dear Campus Feminists, I am writing to let you know about an exciting conference the Feminist Majority Foundation will be hosting in Washington, DC, March 21-23. The National Young Women's Leadership Conference, "From Campus to Congress" is geared toward college-aged feminists, student activists, and their allies. Students will participate in skill-building workshops and discussions on key issues facing young women today including reproductive justice, the environment, affirmative action, and economic empowerment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from members of Congress, national leaders, and student activists from across the country.
