[UWAB] End of Semester Banquet tonight! and other information.

Hello W@CC! this is just a reminder that the end of semester banquet is tonight :) Bring a dish and come and enjoy a beautiful feast. For everyone who pleasantly ordered a t-shirt: They'll be here for you to pick up during finals week. I'll send more information about that on Monday. [UWAB] End of the Semester Banquet next week, last chance for W@CC T-SHIRTS!

Hello everybody, this is Dannielle with some information about W@CC! Next week is the end of the semester potluck. Bring a dish: brownies, cookies, finger sandwiches, microwaveables, punch, dips, chips, and all of the above. It'll be on April 28th, 6 PM, during the meeting. Now let's learn about *t-shirts*: I'm taking orders on t-shirts until 4 pm tomorrow, Friday, April 21 I'm not going to lie: a lot of the delay is because I don't have the final design yet (please forgive me), so I can't update you guys with that yet. However, I can reattach the rough draft of the t-shirt design to this email. T-shirts will most likely be unisex navy blue with pink ink. If you're interested in ordering a t-shirt, *email me with your name and t-shirt size and PHYSICALLY ACTUALLY PAY ME twelve dollars before 4 pm*. I'll be in the Klaus atrium from 11 am - 1 pm, in Klaus 1456 from 1 pm - 3 pm, and on the third floor of the CoC from 3 pm to 4 pm. Basically, call me at 770 8339841, especially if you want to pay me before 11 am. Otherwise, W@CC wishes you guys to have a really restful, productive, and healthy dead week and finals week. Please take care of yourselves, know that you are beautiful and more valuable than your grades, and push yourself for the best grade you can earn. I hope to hear from you all soon, and I'm excited to see you guys at the last meeting, w@cc just as a confirmation and important note, anyone and everyone is allowed to order one, and sizes should be adjusted for assuming the shirts will be adult unisex.

[UWAB] Interested in a W@CC T-Shirt? You MUST order on tomorrow, Thursday.

Hi everyone! This is Dannielle with some fun W@CC t-shirt information. The *rough draft* of the t-shirt design is attached, along with a mock-up of the colors. I'm going for a navy blue t-shirt with light pink ink... dark t-shirts! Yes! The design will have redone text and the lines will be smoother and cuter. If you're interested in ordering a W@CC t-shirt, you should be expecting to sign up at tomorrow's meeting, along with *being ready to pay the twelve dollars ($12) *per shirt. Anyone is allowed to order a shirt, even if the person is not active in the club! We'd love to order the shirts as soon as possible to ensure that you'll get them before school ends: *late orders will not be forgiven* (this time!) If you can't come to tomorrow's meeting, shoot me an email at dannielle.del(a)gmail.com to ensure that I get your money and shirt information. Otherwise, email me with any other questions. Hello girls (and Casey) ! I hope all of you have been enjoying this wonderful week-before-Dead-Week. This is a reminder that we will be hosting our co-chair elections tomorrow night, *April 21st*, at *6:00pm *in *CoC 354*. I highly encourage anyone who wants to run to email me. It is a great opportunity to help this organization in its growth and to meet wonderful people in the College of Computing. We will be starting our movie winner, *Tangled*, soon after. Yay, Tangled! Hello girls! Kristin brought up a very good event that is happening this week. Atlanta Intown Georgia Tech Club will be hosting a panel called *The Balanced Woman*this *Thursday, April 14th* from *6:00 to 7:30pm* at the *LeCraw Auditorium in the College of Management*. The speakers at the event will be there to share their stories of how they learned to juggle successful careers and families. They will be: - Heather Rocker, Executive Director for Women in Technology - Kelly Barrett, VP of Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance at The Home Depot - Valerie Vargas, VP of Consumer Advertising at AT&T - Debora Wilson, Former CEO and President of The Weather Channel - Sallie Graves, SVP, Head of Insurance and Distributor Service IT at ING RSVP at http://thebalancedwoman.eventbrite.com. Don't forget to RSVP for the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Georgia Awards Reception on Sunday, April 17th. Aspirations in Computing recognizes 9th-12th grade females for their computing-related achievements and interests. This year, the College of Computing is sponsoring the Georgia Regional Awards. We received an overwhelming number of applications and have selected 15 winners along with 32 runner-ups. The reception and awards ceremony will take place from 2:00pm-4:30pm.
