[UWAB] Reverse Career Fair for College of Computing Students!

Dear Students, You are invited to apply to the College of Computing Reverse Career Fair! In this career fair-style event, recruiters from the CoC's Corporate Affiliate Partners will walk around to students' tables and get to know students for the intent of internships, co-ops, full-time jobs, etc. Each student will be provided a single table where they will display a trifold posterboard and one other visual aid (laptop, monitor, another poster, etc.). After committing to participate, students must take part in a pre-screening process where they will be required to present themselves and their visual aids and be critiqued, prior to the actual event. The Reverse Career Fair event will take place on April 18 from 4-6pm in the Klaus Atrium. You must have at least 30 credit hours to apply, and if interested, you must complete the application by March 4 (next Friday) and commit to participation by Mar 14. Once the application is submitted, you will be emailed with details about the pre-screening. [UWAB] Undergraduate Scholarships Available for the 2011 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing

Are you an undergraduate CS or CM student interested in attending the 2011 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing? The Office of Outreach, Enrollment and Community will be sponsoring 15 scholarships for undergraduates to attend the conference in San Francisco, CA on April 3rd-5th. [UWAB] Meeting Tomorrow and CoCaesar's Logo Call!

Hello girls! I wanted to remind you that we have a meeting tomorrow, Thursday February 24th at 6:00pm in CoC 354. We will be going over the Threads program. I know that many of you were interested in getting to know your Threads options a little more. There will be food! We will also be finalizing our CoCaesar's non-food item lists at that meeting, so come if you are interested in having a final say in what CoCaesar's is going to look like! I would like to have a final list by tomorrow so we can place orders for everything by next Thursday. After that, the next few weeks will be dedicated to advertisements and preparations. If you were planning on submitting a design, please email it to me (lhuynh(a)gatech.edu) or Alissa (ahartenbaum(a)gatech.edu) by Wednesday, February 2nd. Hey everyone! We are looking for a new design for the official 2011 Ramblin' On t-shirt. Ramblin' On is the all campus party celebrating students' graduation from Tech. The design should appeal to the graduates and guests attending the event. The design contest is open to *ALL* Tech students. Apply to Serve as a Student Government Representative The Georgia Tech Student Government Association Is currently accepting applications for the position of College of Computing Representative in the Undergraduate House of Representatives (UHR). Representatives serve as advocates for their school, class, or program on a variety of campus issues and play a role in allocating the nearly $5 million Student Activity Fee budget. Meetings of the Undergraduate House are held weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM.
