Good morning girls!
The Grace Hopper hosted Scholarships are due THIS coming Friday, May 21, and I really encourage you to apply!
Not only can you build your networks with lots of corporate companies and other attendees, learn about the experiences and findings of big names in both CS and CM, and possibly interview for internships, co-ops, and/or other job positions, but it's a lot of fun! I've participated in the Grace Hopper conference three years in a row now and I wouldn't have traded in those experiences for anything. Strong, big-name women in computing is just something that is rare in our field and to hear what they have to say is truly inspirational.

Please apply for the Grace Hopper Scholarship (even if you aren't completely sure of going yet), and I hope to see you at the conference!
Thanks!

Subject: Tour Guides Needed
Hi all-
As the Summer semester is nearing, the Office of Admissions finds itself once again in desperate need of your help in recruiting tour guides to give daily tours. Tech tours are available Monday-Friday at 11am and 2pm, and tours are approximately 1.5 hours long. Because some tours run over 1.5 hours, tour guides are expected to block out two hours for tours each week in their schedules. Each tour guide is expected to give one tour per week during school sessions (except holidays). In order to give tours, a guide must have at least two times in the week when a two-hour tour can be given beginning at 11am or 2pm. Students interested in becoming a tour guide and any questions regarding campus tours should be directed to the Special Recruitment Programs Office at 404-894-9499 or via email to leslie.jackson(a)admission.gatech.edu
Thanks for your assistance in helping us host our visitors this summer!
Leslie Jackson
