Hey everyone, Great job with Phantasma! There were at least 150 people at the event, and that's just based on sign-ups! We've gotten a lot of good feedback from attendees and they seemed to really have a lot of fun. I want to give a special thank you to our staff members. Despite everything he has to do, Cedric always finds time to do something as trivial as buy us hot-dogs at the last minute. Meredith, thank you so much for all your behind the scenes work with the reservations and then making that emergency run for pumpkins with Michael Slaughter. ACM, thank you so much for the chalk. I know I didn't give you much time in advance, but you came to the rescue. Gourd, you guys are the best artists EVER. Period. UCouncil, you guys are just absolutely amazing. If I asked you to do something... pumpkins, big knives, fire, hot-dogs, cotton candy, moving tons of stuff..., I had full confidence it would get done. UPE, Chubby Bunny was hilarious. M@CC, you always come up with the best unique games ^_^. To the FIREwall, musical chairs were a big hit! Ajai, you did a great job DJing. We had a lot of fun costumes and Michael and Roger, your pies were amazing! Thank you SAB and CISCO for the Trivia fun! And of course, to my Women@CC girls, I heart you guys <333. Overall, it was a great event. To everyone who came and helped staff the event, you're absolutely awesome! Hey everyone, Today's the Day!! I hope you guys are excited for Phantasma! It's a bit cloudy and windy, but it's not supposed to rain. It should be a great event! If you'd like to come help set up (pretty please!), even for just half an hour, I've written a to-do list on the white board in 104b. Cross things off as they are done. I'll be around periodically (lots of classes today), but I can't do it myself and would really love you help! If you're signed up to bring a crock pot, we need that no later than 3p in the orgs room today. Also, PLEASE don't forget to keep telling people that this is going on! Whether you're announcing it to your classes, telling a friend, or just grabbing and telling random people in the commons (please don't scare them), let people know. Hello Yellow Jackets, Come one and come all to the College Puzzle Challenge 2009 Hosted by Microsoft! Here, we will throw at you, fun puzzle activities to tickle, stimulate and bring out the Russell Crowe (A Beautiful Mind) in you! We are serious about puzzles and are confident that they will bend your mind! For this reason, we have reserved 12 hours all day November 14th on campuses all around the country (simultaneously) for this awesome event. As a Yellow Jacket myself, I would like to see the top teams come out of Atlanta to beat our colleagues in Boston, Illinois and California! So Hurry!
