Subject: hey
Wasn't sure if you be interested in doing so, but I found a book for my
term paper for this HTS class I'm taking and thought the women@cc list
might be interested if you want to pass it on:
-----
The paper is on how females are being socially constructed in grade
school (i think it goes beyond that, but just trying to focus the paper)
to go away from computers and into social stereotypes.
Checked out the book Gender and Computers: Understanding the Digital
Divide by Joel Cooper and Kimberlee Weaver. It's been a really good read
and while states some things you go 'yeah.. right. kinda obvious.' it's
things people don't normally think about... both as help for the CC
activities I volunteer for as well as personally.

Hey girls!
We have no meeting this week because we are having our Secret Santa
party at Laura Parker's at 7:00. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
