Hey all, I am absolutely sorry that I couldn't make it to the meeting today. I have couple of questions. I would appreciate it if someone could answer them. 1. I mailed all the professors I had to invite personally on tuesday saying 'this this and this..i wud like to come and invite you personally. I would appreciate it if you will let me know when i can stop by at ur office.' I attatched our flyer and ppt from last yr. I havent got a reply from anyone as yet. Should I just find their office timings and just go and invite them? PLzzzz give suggestions. 2. Who do i get in touch with for the table cloth? The facilities person said he can bring the tables and chairs the day before. I need to sign it out personally and lock. He said it will put them in the physics atrium. I just need to call him and fix a time for when I have to meet him on the 30th. I will be getting in touch with ACM, MICS and FAB for help from guys soon. Will update on that soon. Plzz let me know of any other help. Esp.. abt helping with the publicity. When Sunday?? What time.. etc?? I would appreciate it if guys will help me out. [UWAB] publicity efforts

Hey girls, I talked to the Dean of Students for the CoC and he is going to inform all necessary people that we are approved to put up posters and magnets and such to advertise CoCaesars Palace. So, we do not need to get the flyers and everything else stamped. We just can't tape things to painted walls or glass. Also, I just checked, and we DO have black and color ink in the printer in the student orgs. office. I tried the copier function and that works. I don't have my laptop with me so I could not test to see if the printer function works, but I would like to think that it does. So, we can use the printer in the office to print the colored flyers and the magnets and stick-ons. The big copier and the lab printers we can use for our black and white flyers. Anne- let us know what we can do to help you get all of these flyers, magnets, and stick-ons printed/made so that we can start hanging them up asap. Hence, we can all come in on sunday and hang everything up if we have some volunteers. I know that I am free on sunday to help out...it shouldn't take long to do. [UWAB] CS GIRLS DATE AUCTION

Hey Ladies, So we talked about a Date Auction today during the meeting... and we're pretty serious about it. Ask Anne. She's super pumped! :) We have some ideas and we'll definitely discuss the auction at one of our future meetings. Anne suggests we do it sometime near the end of April, before Dead Week. We'll have time after CoCaesar's to really advertise and prepare. So keep in mind any ideas for the actual date. We'll all go on a date together...because girl + one CS boy = @*^#@*#^*@&^#*@&^#&@*^ (yeah, its that bad). So think of an event or place that you think everyone will enjoy. We're still defintely focused on CoCaesar's right now. Just keep the date auction in the back of your mind somewhere. :) Kathy

I'm all for supporting our group, but I want to make sure you all know that you are not required by SGA to come to this. If you have other stuff to do, like you would have to leave work to come or you are really busy or anything like that, please don't kill yourself trying to make your schedule work around this. SGA only asks that one person be there to represent the group. Bottom line - more people present does not translate into more votes for a bill, it just means that those who are actually talking have a bigger fan club(and who doesn't want that?). It's not that I don't love seeing all of you, I just don't want this to make anyone's life harder than it needs to be. For those of you who are able to make it, I'm sure it will be an absolute blast. Please meet outside the large auditorium before 11am (we don't want to walk in late and look bad). [UWAB] Fundraising Update

Juan and I spent an hour and a half this afternoon placing calls and exploring options for support. Many people were out, so we left messages and both of us feel good about getting raffle stuff to add to the pot! Vanessa's request from Marriott worked. I just received a call from Darcy saying that she is donating lunch for 2 at Ferst Place and the tickets are in the campus mail as of this afternoon. Thanks Vanessa! Jennifer - someome forwarded your email requesting $$$ from Federated Department Stores to James and he will be getting in touch with you to ask you what is needed. Juan and I have discussed this and we suggest you not be shy with the "ask". Take a look at the budget and see if he would fund the food or tent, for example, and then maybe some gift certificates for the store(s).
