[UWAB] Prom Dress Drive

Hey girls- In case any of you want to get rid of your fancy dresses and accessories, see below. -Laura GT Psychology Club - 2005 Prom Dress Drive The Enchanted Closet is a volunteer-run service organization that provides Metro Atlanta high school girls from low-income families an opportunity to make their prom dreams come true. They are currently accepting new or gently worn prom-appropriate formal dresses, dry-cleaned and on hangers. In addition to prom dresses, they also need the following: · Unopened Make-up (preferably darker shades) · Dress shoes · Accessories (fashion jewelry, handbags, shawls, hair clips, etc.) · Long dress bags · Gift certificates to restaurants, florists, limos, salons, etc. Financial contributions are also greatly appreciated. If you have a prom dress or any other items that you would like to donate to this charitable cause, please drop your items off in the front office of the School of Psychology (J.S. Coon Building) by March 9th or contact Elizabeth Weldon at gtg703r(a)mail.gatech.edu. --

Just wanted to let you guys know that we got the Xbox from the Microsoft lady!! I'm soooo excited! This a big prize that we can start advertising for! Publicity...you might want to start thinking about some ways you can use this for the flyers and such. Last year we bought the Xbox so getting it donated this year is awesome!! Hey girls! Ok...we have lots of things coming up and we absolutely need you to be at the meeting tomorrow (Thur, 2/10) @ 11 am in room 53 of CoC...AND we're having PIZZA and drinks! (now you really don't have an excuse :) ). We need to discuss the followings things: 1. CoolComputing @ Tech (which is in 2 weeks!) 1.1 Hosts (take pictures) 1.2 Revise agenda 2. Caesar's Palace (in 1 month!) 2.1 Fundraising 2.2 Faculty outreach - assign people to invite faculty 2.3 Brochure 2.4 Responsibilities of all the leaders of different areas coordinating the event 3. Swiki containing old UWAB material 4. Likes/dislikes/changes to be made to get more people to attend the meetings I really hope to see all of you there. [UWAB] Thursdays meeting

Hey girls, Okay so the letters are being sent out today for those girls who have been admitted to GT as CS majors. They are going to be coming to visit in 2 weeks from this Thursday, so if you signed up to be a host or on the calling tree please please please try to be at the meeting tomorrow. I will be taking digital pictures of each of you so that the girls will know what their host or the person calling them looks like.
